Lindsey McGrew, MBA - Executive Director
Lindsey McGrew is a founder of The Madrone School and has a thirteen year old son with autism. Thus, she understands the importance of quality, measurable services for children with autism and their related costs. She set out to open a school to provide a superior and affordable special education for families in search for an alternative to the public school system. Lindsey is devoted to the success and sustainability of the school and she is responsible for the business aspects of the school as well as the non-profit portion where she spearheads strategic planning and development. She has a Bachelor of Science in Social Sciences with an emphasis in Communication, Business and Women’s Studies and completed a Master of Business Administration at Seattle University. She enjoys spending time with her two sons, Grady and Ace, and her husband, Kris.
Suzanne Murray, MA, BCBA, LBA - Clinical Director
Suzanne is excited to be a part of providing The Madrone School students and families with a quality, individualized education grounded in the principles of ABA. She has been working professionally in the field of ABA since 2009 and earned her Master's degree in Teaching as Applied Behavior Analysis from Teachers College at Columbia University. Suzanne is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and holds teaching certification for special and general education. Within ABA, Suzanne's interests include addressing challenging behaviors, parent training, organizational behavior management, and providing BACB supervision to those preparing to become BCBAs. In her spare time, Suzanne enjoys exploring the great outdoors with her husband, Colin, and her two children, Calvin and Margot.
Anna Parks M.Ed, BCBA, LBA - Clinical Supervisor, Redmond Campus
Anna started working in the field of applied behavioral analysis (ABA) in 2016 when she interned at Apex Summer Camp put on by the University of Washington (UW)'s Autism Center. It was there she discovered a passion for working with individuals with disabilities and watching them grow! She has worked as a behavior technician in clinical and home settings, and graduated with her Bachelor's in Psychology from UW. She then pursued her Master's in Special Education: ABA at the University of Washington while completing a fellowship in the Project DATA (Developmentally Appropriate Treatment for Autism) program at the Experimental Education Unit, an inclusive preschool on UW's campus. After graduating, she obtained her BCBA certification while completing an intensive supervisor development program. She is so excited to join the Madrone community, and has a passion for parent training and helping students achieve their highest potential! In her free time, she enjoys exercising, baking, and spending time with those closest to her.
Tiffany Phillips, M.Ed, BCBA, LBA, BCBA Supervisor— Redmond Campus and Early Intervention
Tiffany is so thrilled to be a part of the TMS team! She loves working in schools because of the community, communication, and collaboration that is available in this setting. Tiffany began working in before and after school programs over 10 years ago. It was there that she first started working with students with disabilities. She began modifying all of curriculum to ensure all students could access and be engaged in the program; it was here her passion for autism and ABA began. She studied psychology and education at the University of California, Davis and it is here she developed a passion for early intervention and inclusion. She moved to WA two years ago to pursue her M.Ed in special education, with an emphasis in ABA and graduated in 2019. Other topics she is passionate about include functions of behavior and increasing functional communication. Tiffany lives in Des Moines with her partner and their two cats Ringo and Lucy. Outside work Tiffany loves to be outdoors hiking or by the water. She enjoys cooking, interior design, and training cats. She also plays trombone and performs in the color guard of the Seattle Rainbow City band.
Steven Sciortino, MS, BCBA, LBA BCBA Supervisor—Woodinville Campus
I started within the field as a volunteer for The Challenger League, a summer baseball organization for children with disabilities during the summers between 2011-2015. While I was working toward my Masters in ABA at Drexel University, I worked at a Bancroft NeuroRehab as a cognitive therapist for clients who sustained traumatic brain injuries. After working in TBI, I moved to Central Pennsylvania working for The Vista School, a private school for students with ASD and other disabilities established by a family for their sons. During my time at The Vista school I worked as a Behavior Technician in the High School and then a Behavior Consultant with the Adult Services program within Vista. Professionally I enjoy attending Behavior Analytic conferences and reviewing the most up to date journals/articles in regards to children and adults with ASD. While I am not at work I will likely be listening to records, playing my guitar, climbing, or go hiking/backpacking.

Brooke Bower - Lead Teacher
Brooke Bower has been a Washingtonian her whole life. Growing up in Kent WA, Brooke began volunteering in special education classrooms as a peer tutor in middle school. Brooke studied Music Therapy with an emphasis in special education at Seattle Pacific University where she received extensive training in psychology, special education, and music. Prior to the Madrone School Brooke worked as a substitute teacher in the Bellevue School District and for Seattle Children's Alyssa Brunette Center teaching music, drama, and social skills to adults with disabilities. During her three years at the Madrone school she started as a CBT and quickly became a Lead BT and Enrichment Specialist providing the students with an opportunity to experience music, drama, art, and movement. In 2020 Brooke was given the opportunity to be a part of opening the new Madrone School in Woodinville as the ABA teacher. In her free time Brooke teaches Ukulele and runs group music classes at Music Works North West. You may also find her singing at local open mics, exploring her wine passport in Woodinville, or attempting to walk her pet cat named Cat on a leash in Downtown Redmond.
Camylle Yamauchi - Certified Behavior Technician
Camylle started working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis in 2015 after graduating from Central Washington University with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. After working for 4 years in the field, Camylle decided to pursue a Master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis. Camylle will be graduating in December 2020, and plans to achieve her BCBA certification. Camylle has a passion for ABA and helping children grow to their full potential. In her spare time, Camylle enjoys hiking with her 2 dogs and exploring new breweries in the Seattle area.
Czar Nicholas - Lead Registered & Certified Behavior Technician
My Name is Czar Nicholas and I am a Registered Behavioral Technician from California. My wife and I are brand new to the PNW! I am very happy to be a part of The Madrone School team! I have been helping people with developmental disabilities for over a year and have implemented individualized programs for children and young adults based on ABA principles that increase communication, self-help, social and play skills. In my spare time my wife and I love going out and trying new restaurants. We’ve been having a good time exploring Washington, the state we call home now.

Lexy Breitbarth - Lead Certified Behavior Technician
Lexy Breitbarth grew up outside of Portland, Oregon but moved to Washington shortly after graduating Oregon State University with a Major in Human Development and Family Sciences. She has been of the Madrone School team since March 2019 working at both the Redmond and the Woodinville location when it opened in January. She has worked with adults and children with disabilities for 4 years but has found her passion working with kids at the Madrone School. In her spare time she spends time with her dog Scout and cat Skunk outside while enjoying the sun as much as possible.
Alison Beane - Certified Behavior Technician
Alison graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Anthropology, After graduating, she realized she had a passion for working with children and began working in early childhood education. After about 3 years she developed an interest in pediatric occupational therapy. Through her sister, Alison discovered the field of Applied Behavior Therapy and thought it would be a great way to develop the skills and experience beneficial for working with children with special needs. With the experience Alison is developing as a Behavior Technician, Alison plans to pursue a career in OT in the future.
In her spare time, Alison enjoys exploring the great Pacific Northwest, spending time with friends, and spoiling her corgi and munchkin cat.
Julie Crew - Certified Behavior Technician
Julie is a California native, who has recently moved to Washington after living in Indiana for nearly a decade. She is ecstatic to call Washington her home! Julie graduated from Indiana University South Bend (IUSB) in 2017 with a Bachelor's in History and a minor in Psychology. She has 3 years clinical experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis. Her hobbies include exploring the beautiful PNW and playing board games.
Karine Lamarche- Certified Behavior Technician
Karine attended Western Washington University and studied Sociology with a minor in Women, Gender and Sexuality studies. During her years there she became a Certified Home Care Aide. Karine has 3+ years experience working for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities in their homes. She completed the Right Response training workshop as well as over 75 hours continuing education of intervention, prevention and positive behavior support. In addition to this, she volunteered at a therapeutic horsemanship center designed to aid children and adults with disabilities. In 2019 she decided to pursue becoming a Registered Behavior Technician. In her free time, she now volunteers at a local ranch that benefits at-risk youth. Karine's hobbies include spending time outdoors, skiing, hiking and exploring new parts of the PNW.
Rachael Cresta- Certified Behavior Technician
Rachael first heard about ABA during her senior year of college at Southwestern Assemblies of God University in Texas. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Counseling with a Music Minor in 2018, she became a registered behavior technician. She worked with clients ranging in age from 5 to 18 years old, offering in home sessions. Rachael recently moved to Washington and is so excited to be working at The Madrone School, doing ABA again. In her free time Rachael loves hiking, exploring new places, and trying out different coffee shops.
Jill Schwartz - Behavior Technician
Jill graduated in 2018 from University of Rochester with degrees in Psychology and Brain and Cognitive Sciences. After graduating, she started working as a BT at an ABA center in Boston. Jill will be pursuing her Masters in ABA at the University of Washington beginning in Fall 2020. Outside of work, Jill enjoys hiking and tending to her plants.
Savannah Allen - Behavior Technician
Savannah grew up in Puyallup Washington. She Attended Western Oregon University. Where she studied American sign language studies and special education. She became a certified behavior tech in 2020. In her free time she enjoys running and coaching kids sports.

Tessa Littlejohn - Registered Behavior Technician
Tessa grew up in Kansas, and attended The University of Kansas where she obtained a Bachelor's in Psychology. After graduation she moved to Seattle where she began working in the ABA field. After 3 years in the field, she began pursuing a Master's in Applied Behavior Analysis. In her free time, Tessa enjoys hiking, and spending time with friends.

Logan is a Registered Behavior Technician. I am so grateful to be working with The Madrone School! I used to be a personal assistant for the elderly while I studied Psychology and German at Western Washington University in Bellingham. I have always been interested in working with children with developmental disabilities and was licensed in November of 2020. I began an Applied Behavior Analysis graduate program with Arizona State University in January of 2021 and am working toward becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. In my spare time I like participating in Irish conversation circles and volunteering with hospice care.
Lucy Marriner- Registered Behavior Technician
Lucy recently graduated from the University of Puget Sound in the spring of 2020 and received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She became a licensed Behavior Technician in her home state of California after graduation, but is very excited to be working alongside her amazing coworkers and supervisors in Washington! Her passion for the field lies in wanting to assist underrepresented populations including people diagnosed with ASD. She loves working with kids and her favorite part of the job is creating special connections with each student. When she’s not working, Lucy enjoys cooking, going on walks, doing yoga, and chatting with friends.
The school is named after the Madrone tree that grows across the Pacific Northwest. Each Madrone tree grows in a different manner based on its environment. Just as the Madrone tree is unique, each student is a unique individual that benefits from being in an environment that allows them to grow in their own way.
